Location
Luxury wheelchair accessible villa on the outskirts of Javea in the pine covered woodland urbanisation of La Cala, which is close to
Cap de la Nao Lighthouse (the most easterly point of mainland Spain). The villa is positioned on a large south facing plot with
private pool and panoramic views from the pool terrace. Javea is situated on the east coast of Spain, approximately 100 km from
Valencia (to the north) and 90 km from Alicante (to the south). There are three main areas in Javea: the old town, the Port and the
Arenal. The old town is a maze of pretty narrow streets. The Port, is a busy fishing port where you can enjoy fresh fish in the local
restaurants and bars. The Arenal is the main tourist area with it's long sandy beach planted with Palm trees and promenade with many
bars and restaurants serving local traditional Spanish food.
Access
The villa has been constructed to meet the wheelchair owner's needs and therefore, along with other features, it is level throughout
and has widened doors for easy access. The master bedroom is bright and spacious and has a double bed with “Tempur” pressure
relieving mattress. There is plenty of space at either side for left or right hand transfers and there is also ample space to
accommodate an electric hoist if required. The lights and ceiling fan can be operated from the bedside. French doors lead out from
the bedroom onto the poolside terrace. The en-suite is spacious with a level access shower with self-propelling shower chair provided.
The toilet has fold down grab rails at either side to accommodate left or right hand transfers and the shower chair can go over the
top of the toilet. A raised toilet seat also available on request. The pool has an hydraulic pool hoist for access.
Accommodation
Occupancy is for a maximum of 6 plus a cot. The villa has an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with family bathroom and 3
bedrooms (). Two of the bedrooms have french doors opening onto the pool terrace with direct access to the kidney shaped pool.
Externally there is a large terrace leading to the 10 x 5m kidney shaped pool with roman steps. The gardens are all accessible with
various seating areas and there is a large drive for easy parking. The property is non Smoking and no pets are allowed.
Facilities
Patio table and chairs are positioned on the pool terrace in the naya for relaxing or for "al fresco" dining. There is also the option
of the seperate barbecue area which has a table and chairs with a parasol for shade. Bed linen is changed half way through a two week
stay.

The resort is approximately 80km from Alicante airport.
The town of Javea is approximately 1 hours drive from both Alicante and Valencia airports.
