Location
Las Piedras is a small hotel specifically designed with the needs of disabled people in mind. It is located in the rural hamlet of Pilarejo, in the Axarquia region of Southern Spain, overlooking olive and almond groves and facing the breathtaking 6,700 ft high La Maroma Mountain. With a climate suitable for holidays 12 months a year. The coast is a 30 minute drive away. It is the perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the Costas or as a base for exploring the fascinating Axarquia Region. The owners have worked in tourism for many years, specialising in the past few years in running holidays for physically disabled people. Through their experiences in taking groups of disabled people all over the world they have come to appreciate what is important for the disabled traveller. With this in mind they have created their Las Piedras providing a total holiday package.

Access
There are 5 spacious, beautifully appointed rooms in total. Each is fully wheelchair accessible (access by ramp) with en-suite bathroom with roll-in shower, grab rails and special sink. Electric wheelchairs are welcome. The swimming pool has a hoist. Assistant animals welcome.

Accommodation
The rooms are of a high standard in a traditional Spanish rustic style. Each room has complimentary tea & coffee making facilities. Two of the rooms are family rooms able to accommodate up to 4 people (1 set of bunk beds in each room). All rooms are air-conditioned and open out onto a sun terrace.

Facilities
There are 3 sun terraces / patios with stunning views - some with sun & others with shade. Outdoor pool with hoist and grab bars. Gardens with flowers and fruit trees & amazing views of the mountain opposite. Discounts for children - cots, high chairs etc available free of charge. Discounts for group bookings. Care can be arranged at additional cost.

The full board Package includes accessible airport transfers, excursions and all meals in the price. The other package is B&B which is just accommodation and breakfast, most guests who choose this option hire a car.

As well as B&B and Full Board options, Las Piedras can also be hired as a self- catering villa perfect for large families or small groups, as can La Casita - a charming rustic, Moorish style cottage with superb views (not suitable for wheelchair users / people with reduced mobility) 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/diner, lounge(which can sleep 2) with TV, roof terrace, balcony and private enclosed courtyard. However, due to the rural location of Las Piedras it is strongly recommended to hire a car whilst renting Las Piedras or Las Casita on a self-catering basis.

The hotel run a variety of diverse and interesting excursions. Visit Malaga City, Granada, Alhama de Granada, Torre Del Mar, The Sierra Tejeda National Park, Ronda and lots more.
