Location
This traditionally Spanish detached villa is set in a wonderfully private location within a prestigious residential development. There are panoramic views of the sea and surrounding mountains from the large pool terrace which enjoys the sun all day. The villa is all on one level with direct access from the parking area and it is totally wheelchair friendly. It is a 10 min drive to the historic hilltop town of Altea, with its palm lined walkways, fishing port, marina and many restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Several beautiful beaches are close by, whilst Benidorm offers alternative activities and nightlife with Water Parks, Terra Mitica and Natura Theme Parks. The local, Albir beach is a well maintained, accessible for wheelchairs and equipped with sun lounges, umbrellas etc, with diving and water sports available. There are 2 fabulous new golf courses nearby and limitless shopping facilities, supermarkets and the bustling weekly street markets in Altea, Albir and our busy local town of Alfaz Del Pi.
Access
The villa is entirely on one level, having been built for a wheelchair user and set in a 1000 sq.m garden. The car parking leads to all areas of the villa, terraces, BBQ and pool (with shallow steps) from which the views are to be enjoyed. Having spacious accommodation, extra wide doors throughout, a roll-in shower, chair and toilet with grab rails, the villa is entirely suitable for wheelchair users and the less able.
Accommodation
The villa, which has undergone extensive refurbishment, sleeps 6 and has 3 spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and large en-suite wetroom, with wc, vanity unit and huge accessible shower equipped with shower chair. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, with washbasin. A cot/playpen is available. There is also a main family bathroom with wc, vanity unit, bath and shower, both new and recently enlarged.
Facilities
The property features a secluded bougainvillea clad BBQ area for fabulous outdoor dining. The fully fitted kitchen has a hob, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer. The stylish living areas are comfortably furnished to a high standard with sofas etc and dining furniture for 6 people. There's direct access to the pool,terrace and gardens. Satellite TV and DVD player. CD/radio. Ceiling fans throughout. There's also a fully glazed sun room/second living area overlooking the pool and gardens. Recently extended, this lovely room is casually furnished with cane furniture and opens through wide patio doors to the pool, terraces and BBQ area.
The living areas overlook the totally private kidney shaped pool which enjoys all day sunshine and new shallow Roman steps allow ease of entry for the less able. Many sun beds, tables and chairs are provided for outdoor living. The colourful BBQ area, shaded by bouganvillea and grape vines is set in a secluded corner of the mature, well maintained gardens. There is also a roof terrace with breathtaking views of the bay, perfect for sundowners. A number of golf courses are nearby within a 10 minute drive including 2 magnificent new 18 hole courses near Benidorm.
