Location
Situated in Cancún’s south shores, the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort All Inclusive resort is within 16 km of downtown Cancún, the Mayan ruins of El Rey, and Wet ‘n Wild water park. Functioning as a self-contained village, the immense resort attracts couples and families seeking activity-filled days and nights, golfers eager to play a three 9-hole golf courses, and romance-minded couples desiring spa pampering and secluded sunbathing on the beach. The resort is divided between two sides, Sunrise and Nizuc, and there are also golf suites by the golf course. The majority of amenities, activities, taxes, and gratuities at this Cancun resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for on-site meals, drinks, activities, entertainment, and use of sports equipment. In addition, there is no charge for on-site meals, drinks, activities, entertainment, and use of facilities at eight other Palace r esorts in Cancún, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, and Isla Mujeres. Access
Disabled access is second to none with long ramps to ALL areas, lifts at center sections in sunrise and wide flat concreted pathways, electric doors to lobby etc.(Customer review). There are 20 accessible rooms with wheel in shower and grab rails. One of the pools has a sloped ramped pooled access.
Accommodation
The resort offers 2,103 guestrooms in 16 three-story hacienda-style buildings that include nearly identical facilities and amenities. Rooms feature balconies or enclosed ground-floor terraces furnished with chairs and hammocks that provide views of gardens or the Caribbean Sea. Bathrooms contain two-person walk-in showers and two-person jetted tubs. Liquor dispensers hold rum, brandy, Scotch, and tequila. Minibars contain bottled water, beer, and soft drinks. Decor features dark wood furniture, including marbletop table and dresser; tan-marble floors with brown-marble accents; and white walls and ceilings. Room ameneties include wireless Internet access, cable/satellite television channels, air conditioning, climate control, blackout drapes/curtains, complimentary internet access, free local calls, coffee/tea maker, wake-up calls, bathrobes and slippers, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, jetted tub, iron/ironing board, rollaway beds.

Facing 1 km of beach, each of the resort's two sides has an immense lagoon-style swimming pool measuring more than 200 meters wide with shallow areas for lounge chairs, jetted sections, and swim-up bars. Surrounding sundecks include palapas and toddlers' pools. The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate. Family-friendly facilities and activities include a children's club, children's pool with water slides and toboggans, teens' area, daily activities for children, a Baby Center, a playground, and an arcade. Play on the golf courses and use of facilities is not part of the All-Inclusive Plan. Golf carts are equipped with a GPS system. Greens fees include use of a cart. Clubs and shoes are available for rent. Instruction can be arranged for surcharges. The golf club also features an outdoor pool, two restaurants, and a bar.
