Nestled in a serene forest, the Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground features a quaint, relaxing escape in surroundings that capture timeless beauty, thus enabling you to have the time of your life among hundreds of acres of peaceful and natural beauty. This resort is located in the Magic Kingdom area on North Fort Wilderness Trail in the city of Buena Vista. At Fort Wilderness it's time for the outdoor life, Disney style! Both parents and children alike will love staying in the very comfortable rustic-style cabins, reminiscent of log dwellings from the pioneer days, special touches include vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and a private deck with barbecue. Splash to your heart's content at the pools, soak up the sun on a white-sand beach, go fishing or enjoy a scenic run along the bike path. Gather around the campfire with your pals for songs and watch a classic Disney movie under the stars.

There are 13 wheelchair-accessible cabins located on loop 2800. Wheelchair-accessible cabins have 1 double bed, 2 bunk beds, pull-down sleeper sofa in the living room with wider doorways, grab rails and roll-in shower.
Accommodation
There are 784 campsites ranging in length from 25' to 65' to accommodate tents, tent trailers and recreational vehicles. For those who prefer the comforts of home, there are 409 Wilderness Cabins. These cozy, freestanding cabins are reminiscent of the old pioneer log homes allowing you to relax with home-style comforts and the great outdoors. Cabins sleep max 6 persons. All have air-conditioning, two color cable televisions with Disney Channel, VCR, full kitchen, full bathroom with hair dryer, outside deck with barbeque, bedroom with double bed and 1 set of bunk beds, living room with pull-down double bed, parking for one vehicle, iron and ironing board, fold-away crib, in-room safe, dual line phones with voicemail, daily housekeeping, and laundry facilities/services. Nonsmoking rooms are available.
Facilities
Fishing, swimming, horseback riding, hay rides, boating and cycling are just some of the exciting activities on offer. There is also a petting farm, which younger members of the family will particularly enjoy. The pot-bellied stove, beamed ceilings, split log décor and flagstone floor welcome you into a simple, satisfying world of American down-home cooking. Start your day with a bountiful breakfast, featuring favourites like omelettes, cheese grits, and biscuits and gravy. Enjoy dining here for lunch, dinner or snack time. Mickey's Backyard BBQ offers a full line-up of line-dancing, western-singing, rope-tricking, kid-friendly entertainment; the roof of this outdoor pavilion is in danger of getting blown off!! Enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat buffet featuring BBQ pork ribs, baked chicken and hot dogs with all the trimmings. Then there's the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, this is a Western Vaudeville-style show with all-you-care-to-eat American cuisine - served family style.
