Location
The Disney Polynesian Resort lies within the Magic Kingdom resort area of Walt Disney World, a South Seas paradise with white beaches, torch-lit pathways, waterfalls and lush gardens which will enchant guests with their tropical ambience. This wonderful resort provides easy access to the Disney theme parks, water parks, marina and downtown Disney by monorail, water launch and bus. Look out for the unique Kukai Nut tree, the only one of its kind in the state of Florida. The tree was brought to the Walt Disney World Resort from its native Hawaii.

Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available with 2 queen-size beds plus a day bed and a roll-in shower. Access is good in and around the resort.
Accommodation
The hotel has 847 rooms in eleven 2- or 3-Storey Longhouses with 1 lift in each. Rooms are airy and have a tropical feel with bamboo and wood décor. Standard rooms have air-conditioning, TV with Disney Channel, coffee maker, fridge, safe, iron and board, and hairdryer. Rooms have 2 queen-size beds and a day bed, sleeping a maximum of 5 persons plus 1 child aged 2 years and under in a cot. Lagoon View are rooms available at a supplement; facilities are the same as the standard room with a view of Seven Seas Lagoon. Other room upgrades available.
Facilities
The property features an extensive range of recreational activities, including the Nanea Volcano Pool, featuring a grotto slide and children's wet play area as well as the Grand Floridian Spa and Health Club. You can also have a splendid time at the white sand beach. Other facilities include jogging, fishing, volleyball, playground, Never Land Kids' Club (4-12 years, local charge), arcade, and watercraft rentals (local charge). Guests have the use of Walt Disney World Transportation System. The Disney monorail runs between Magic Kingdom Park and this hotel. Free parking.
