Location
This four star plus hotel was totally renovated in 2005/2006, providing the whole building with a brighter and more modern look. Situated by the lighthouse that gives it its name, the IFA Faro Hotel faces the sea only a few strides from the southern end of the Maspalomas beach on the southernmost tip of the island. Thanks to this unbeatable location, it offers spectacular views over 6 kilometres of sand dunes and the ocean. Guests can visit Maspalomas Golf course, which is just 2 kilometres away from the hotel. This elegant hotel, with its pleasant atmosphere is the right place for a memorable holiday.
Access
There's a very steep ramp into the hotel with a purpose built lift which guests can use to access the hotel. Hotel staff are happy to assist guests if they require. Good access in and around hotel. Three wheelchair accessible rooms all with roll in showers, please note there is a small 6 cm lip onto the balcony. The outdoor swimming pool has a ramp and hand rail.
Accommodation
The 188 air-conditioned guestrooms satisfy the highest expectations of comfort - bathrooms are in marble and have a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and bath robes. Air conditioning, carpeted floor, mini-bar, direct-dial telephone, stereo equipment and television are in all rooms. The room safe may be used on payment of an additional charge. All rooms have a furnished terrace with sun-lounger and chairs. According to the room category booked rooms have a direct or indirect sea view. In addition the IFA Hotel Faro Maspalomas has suites on each floor as well as no-smoking rooms.
