Location
Situated 300 metres from central Sliema, the Fortina Spa Resort is Malta’s newest 17 storey 5 star hotel. Facing south with magnificent views of Valletta’s bastion walls with an additional 4 storey building that houses the World’s 1st Therapeutic Spa bedrooms. It is the ideal hotel to indulge in a numerous variety of Spa treatments, excellent cuisines from around the world, in a choice of seven restaurants and one of the best locations on the island. The hotel also has 4 Spa Centres, Conference facilities, 7 Swimming Pools, a Fully Equipped Fitness Centre and a Body Control (UK) Pilates Studio.
Access
The hotel is completely accessible and has 5 accessible rooms with wheel-in showers and grab rails. There is also a pool hoist.
Accommodation
The 5 Star Seaview tower bedrooms offer breathtaking views of Valletta’s bastion walls and range from Luxury Suites to Luxury Suites with private outdoor Spa, Jacuzzi bath and patio. Tower bedroom amenities include individual climate control, TV with music/movies on demand, espresso machine with a fine selection of teas & Coffee, in-house movies (payable locally) and a safe. Bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard, tastefully decorated with carpeted floors.
The Wellness Rejuvenation Rooms were created for todays hectic lifestyles and come equipped with the latest healing technology. Alternatively, the first Therapeutic Spa bedrooms of the world overlook the hotel’s tropical garden and pool. Theses state-of-the art bedrooms offer Spa treatments in the privacy of your bedroom. The Fortina Fitness Centre is accessible through the adjoining Hotel Fortina. There are 5 swimming pools (3 indoor/2 outdoor). Other facilities include Jacuzzi, Mini Golf, Wi-Fi/Wireless LAN, internet Services, room service, laundry and ironing Service. There's also nightly entertainment. Some facilities are shared with the four star sister property. With spectacular views of Valletta, the lobby is large and elegant. Marble flooring throughout fitted with modern lighting fixtures. Reception desk is right opposite the entrance, lifts and jewellery shop to the right. A staircase from the lobby leads up to the cocktail lounge on the first floor.

The ‘All-Inclusive’ Fortina Spa Resort facilities offers a choice of 6 different A La Carte restaurants : Taste - by Tom Kime (Vietnamese & Mediterranean Cuisine), Tigne Brasserie (French & Maltese Cuisine), Sa Re Ga Ma (Authentic Indian Cuisine), Il Giardino Pizzeria, Hibiki (Japanese Cuisine & Tepanyaki Grills) and CanThai (Chinese & Thai Cuisine), There a 2 bars serving imported branded spirits, cocktails, local beers, local wine & sparkling wine and soft drinks. Please note that aged spirits, champagne and foreign wines are not part of the all-Inclusive package.
