The cottages at the site are set back from a quiet country road just a half-mile level walk from Widecombe-in-the-Moor, a vibrant village rich with traditions. The annual fair has been hosted here since 1850, while the Cafe on the Green has been serving tea and cake since 1926. The village also has two very good pubs with beer gardens and cafe providing further choice, so you're not short of options if you decide to wander into the village for a bite to eat if you don't feel like cooking.

A ground floor converted stable all on the level and suitable for the disabled. Entrance into kitchen/lounge/diner with bay window. Two bedrooms - one still on the level with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with sliding door and wheel in shower suitable for the disabled. The second bedroom is up two steps with a double bed and en-suite bathroom (bath).
Facilities
All the holiday homes are very well equipped and furnished, including a fitted kitchen with full-sized cooker, microwave oven, fridge , freezer in most cases and a good range of crockery and utensils, TV/DVD, iron and ironing board are also provided. For the youngest guests, cots, z-beds and high chairs are available free of charge. Duvets, blankets and pillows are supplied and bed linen is available by arrangement. There is a separate laundry building which houses washing machines, tumble driers and a payphone. Central heating is supplied from mid-September to end of May and is included in the total price. Each property has a coal effect electric fire, bathroom wall heater and convector/fan heaters.
