This is a very large, spacious 4 bedroom bungalow in a secluded part of Lincolnshire, aiming to cater to those with complex needs and disabilities, and their families. Most shops and restaurants are at least a third of a mile away, however it is possible to arrange supermarkets to deliver to your lodge. There are a number of local attractions within a short driving distance.
Access
The lodge is accessible, offering a great amount of turning space, level access throughout, and a bathroom with a wheel-in shower, and grab rails at the toilet. The on-site indoor pool features a pool hoist.
Accommodation
The accommodation is a well-furnished 4 twin bedroom accommodation, with level access, and all rooms feature a three-way lighting system which can be adjusted with white and warm lighting. It features a fully-equipped kitchen, with cooking and cleaning facilities, and an American-style fridge freezer. Leather furniture and hardwood tables and chairs are featured throughout. The open-plan living area features a 55” mounted television. There are two bathrooms, one of which is a wet room featuring a wheel-in shower and hand basin. There are no radiators in the accommodation, all heating is underfloor. The furniture is bright and modern, and the wall colour schemes are soft and natural, giving the accommodation a calming and welcoming atmosphere. There is also a large outdoor patio area, with a table, chairs, cushions, and a parasol.
Facilities
There are a wide range of facilities on-site for disabled people and family alike to enjoy.
There is a large communal room, with a fully fitted kitchen and there is a range of toys, indoor games and art equipment for all to enjoy. There is also a selection of tables and chairs which can be re-arranged to suit the needs of your party. For example larger groups may gather for their evening meal where they can enjoy preparing and eating a meal together.
There is an indoor play barn, featuring a wheelchair accessible soft play, and offers entertainment such as table tennis, table football, pool tables, a floor drum set and electric piano, etc.
The site features a pool you can visit, by booking private sessions. The pool environment is warm, and the pool is heated to a higher than average temperature. A pool hoist is available, and a selection of swimming aids and floats, accessible changing facilities, and a specialist changing bed.
Additionally, there is an outdoor play park with safety matting, and a gym available to book privately. A small private wood with flat ground is fairly accessible. And a go cart track with self-propelled adult-sized go-carts.
