The accessible cottage is one of three cottages set in the grounds of the old farmhouse and it has designated parking adjacent to the entrance. It has an attractive sheltered courtyard garden at the rear leading to a bricked pathway that takes you to the dining room in the farmhouse. The B&B is situated in Ellesmere within easy wheeling of the Mere Visitor Centre and the town.

The cottage has a twin bedded room with an en-suite wetroom and an open plan living area. Wheelchair users with larger chairs may find the dimensions restrictive however alterations have recently been carried out to allow wheelchair turning space in the wetroom. The accommodation also has an adjoining single roomed cottage with a connecting door for a carer/companion if required.
These three cottage-style apartments sleep from one to four people, each having a mini-kitchen (with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster), space to unwind (with comfy tub chairs, TV / DVD, table and chairs), one or two bedrooms (with quality bedding, sprung mattresses, radio-alarm, wardrobe and hairdryer) and en-suite bath or shower rooms (with heated towel rails and large fluffy bath sheets). There's under-floor heating and free wi-fi too. In addition, a complimentary selection of toiletries, fresh milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits are supplied.

Guests can self-cater as all rooms have mini-kitchens. Alternatively, The Boathouse, opposite The Mere and just a 5-minute stroll, opens at 8:30am daily and offers a full range of breakfast options. If required, a continental breakfast buffet is available in the farmhouse costing £7.50 per person, to be booked the evening before.
