Melfort Pier and Harbour has 10 Scandinavian designed self catering accommodation scattered along the shores of Loch Melfort, where the Highlands come down to the ocean. There are two private beaches, a small harbour and the ancient Pier. Enjoy free fishing from the private pier and use of a rowing boat. The area is famous for the warmth of its hospitality, breath-taking scenery, the wild and rocky indented coastline, ancient castles and standing stones.
We provide freedom, privacy and service, so you can choose the things you want to do, when you want to do them.
If you wanted a recipe for relaxation Melfort Pier and Harbour have it - sea, sunsets, sand, sauna, smiles, silence, sailing, service, scrabble, spa bath, sanctuary, swimming, snuggling, satisfaction. Perfect for weekend breaks or longer stays at any time of year.
If you want time out from cooking, there are several good places to eat in the surrounding area. All the properties have gardens or large balconies. Bring your own BBQ for a cook out, any time of the year.
Melfort Pier and Harbour is a pet friendly. All pets including Rabbits, turtles, birds, dogs and cats.... are all welcome at this accommodation!

The aim at Melfort is to enable anyone to come and enjoy a relaxing holiday in this idyllic setting, therefore it was important to us to provide comfortable and accessible accommodation for less able guests. Melfort Pier & Harbour are a cat. 2.
7of the properties are on one floor with ramps, parking for easy access, and all the required facilities in the bathroom. Rooms are spacious to allow for wheelchair access and Please call them at 01852-200-333 and they will advise you which house would best suit your requirements.

The whole compound is tarmac, that makes it very easy to get around. You can go all the way on the private Pier if you like to fish. Or take the dog out. The houses have large low windows , so you can enjoy the ever chaining panorama.
Staff will advise on facilities with access for the disabled in the Oban and Lorn area. Of course they will be happy to help with any other aspect of your stay here. A trip to Mull, Glen cove, the Gardens .

There are one, two and three bedroom properties for you to stay in and relax! 7 are accessible, all on one level, with roll in shower rooms. All properties have ensuite bathrooms. All the properties are comfortable, clean and cosy. The opulence of having your very own personal sauna and spa bath allows the ultimate in relaxation and privacy. Each property is to a Scandinavian design, fresh, uncluttered, with all home from home comforts, with a few extras - comfortable leather suites, underfloor heating, digital TV, CD player, free WiFi, dishwasher, microwave, laundry facilities. Some have a log fire, perfect for winter evenings. All the beds are made up and your towels are ready for use.
