The lodge is a detached, spacious and well equipped property, set in a secluded spot in spectacular Glen Roy with open views over the countryside. With the property being all on the ground floor and having wheelchair access, a wet room complete with pull-down shower seat, a shower chair with grab rails and another separate shower stool, this property is well-equipped for those who maybe less mobile.
The lodge is located in a working, crofting township, where sheep and cattle roam freely in the winter time and graze the hillsides in the summer. Glen Roy is a National Nature Reserve and is most well known for the ‘parallel roads’, a geological feature dating back to the Ice Age. This is a fabulous area for walking, bird watching or just simply enjoying the peace and quiet.
The area has so much to offer; dramatic landscapes, sunsets, dark skies and much more, so come, explore, relax and enjoy. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles. The lodge can be booked together with Bothan a’ Bhile (¼ mile away) to accommodate up to 8 guests.
