OVERVIEW
This 8 day Kruger Park Safari Package provides disabled travellers with an exciting and adventurous safari tour experience that is structured and meticulously planned to accommodate all needs.
On this disabled travel in Kruger Park you will take pleasure in morning and evening game drives in the world famous Kruger National Park, get in touch with wild animals in a magnificent Private Game Reserve and get a taste of the cultural heritage of South Africa.
You will fly into Johannesburg and stay at a hotel of your choice. We have a variety to choose from depending on your interests. All offer adapted rooms:
Garden Court Sandton City
The greatly located Garden Court Sandton Hotel prides itself on being voted Hotel of the Year 2009. The hotel offers 3 wheelchair accessible rooms and a babysitting service on request.
Protea Hotel Balalaika Sandton
This hotel is home of The Bull Run Restaurant which is renowned for South African Beef dishes. Additionally the hotel is within walking distance of many local attractions such as Nelson Mandela Square and Sandton City.
African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel
Situated in the upmarket Melrose Arch Precinct, the hotel is close to many local shops, bars, clubs and restaurants. Local attractions include the Apartheid Museum and Johannesburg Zoo.
After a few days relaxing in luxury it is time to start your Safari. This safari showcases some of the best attractions which South Africa has to offer a disabled traveller.
DAY ONE
From Johannesburg, this day's journey takes us east through the rolling hills of the Highveld, and we lunch en route to the Kruger National Park. Entering from the South-west where we spend the first 2 nights at the Main camp Skukuza.
DAYS TWO, THREE & FOUR
We spend the next 3 days in the Kruger National Park. This 2 million-hectare haven is home to the Big Five and many other species of animal, bird and plant. Kruger Park is a premier local and international Game Park, featuring, apart from its excellent camps, wonderful views and tranquil settings. The Park features exciting drives through both dense bush and dry scrub. Whilst in the Park, most of the time will be filled with game viewing on early morning and evening drives, discovering the inner beauty of this memorable Park. This is where you can explore your photographic skills, or even just capture the sight of this incredible variety of wildlife as a memory back home. Our nights are spent at various main and private camps throughout the Park, with the first 2 nights at Skukuza camp and nights 3 & 4 at Satara camp (please note this depends on availability and could change). Optional cost night game drive* available on request.
DAYS FIVE, SIX & SEVEN
After breakfast and a morning's game drive, we depart the Kruger National park and head to magnificent Private Game Reserve, world renowned for reintroducing animals to the wild and its Lion Breeding Project where we spend 3 nights. You can get to know and encounter up close lions and maybe even touch a wild cheetah at this stunning lodge. Dinner is served in a traditional "Boma" around a blazing fire by us. Activities during these days include morning and afternoon game drives & walks and touching Jessica the Hippo* (optional extra cost).
DAY EIGHT
Our last day is a scenic day's journey back to Johannesburg where you will be delivered to the airport or your hotel after enjoying your incredible Epic safari!
If you wish to stay in Johannesburg after the Safari we would recommend the Southern Sun O.R Tambo International Airport Hotel: Which offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, if you wish to explore Johannesburg for a few days before travelling home, trips to Sun City and Gold Reef City can be arranged.

Prices for the tour are from approx £1,015.00 per person including accommodation, tours, meals and excursions. Flights, optional excursions and drinks and personal expenses are not included.
