The lodge is nestled on the southern slopes of the Weald, close to Haywards Heath, on the edge of one of the prettiest villages in Sussex, Cuckfield, which dates back to the 13th century and lies between the beautiful South Downs and Ashdown Forest. It was here that the first known fossil of the Iguanodon was discovered.
Gatwick airport is just 20 minutes’ drive away and there are good train connections to London from Haywards Heath, 3 miles away. Beach 16 miles, shop 400 yards, and pub and restaurant 200 yards.
The lodge is accessible, and includes a disabled wet room. The wet room includes a wheel-in shower cubicle and grab rails. There is level access into the property, and the property is all on the ground floor.
