This is a light, comfortable two bedroom holiday cottage, carpeted throughout, with very attractive oak doors and woodwork. The cottage has been converted from the farmís milking parlour. The cottage is on the edge of the South Downs National Park, the beautiful Ashdown Forest is only a short journey away, and itís within easy reach of some of the most captivating historic towns and villages in this part of the country.
The cottage has full level access throughout; there are no steps. The cottageís master bedroom has an en-suite level access wet room, with a wheel-in shower. There are drop-down support arms, and a shower chair can be made available for you on request.
You move from the entrance hall into a generously sized living room, open plan to the dining area, and separate fully fitted kitchen. There are two sets of French doors which open onto the sun terrace, including garden furniture, and a barbecue. The sofa and armchairs are the last word in comfort, and some very attractive handmade furniture gives plenty of storage. The living room includes a widescreen television, with Freeview and a DVD player.
Off the living room is the master bedroom, with its double bed and spacious en-suite shower room. A substantial wardrobe and chest of drawers give you ample space for clothes. A hairdryer is also provided. The level entry shower room has been fitted with very high quality equipment, including a contemporary thermostatic shower and a shaver socket.
If you move back to the entrance hall you'll find the twin bedroom leading off on the other side. This lovely room has its own en-suite with an extra wide bath, an equally high quality modern thermostatic push-button shower, and a shaver socket.
The fully-fitted self-catering kitchen leads off the dining area, and offers all the facilities you would expect: refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, double grill, microwave, and washing machine. Additional freezer space can be requested. All guests have access to a separate laundry room on site, including a tumble dryer, and additional space for coats and boots.
The cottage would make an excellent family stay in a rural setting, with a great range of amenities to make your stay comfortable.
