The Somerset Stables

Nestled at the end of a lane, this single-storey barn conversion is located on the owner’s working farm and has been lovingly restored from the original old stables. The internal doorways have been built with wheelchairs in mind, and there is a ramp to both the front and the back of the property. It has its own enclosed garden, which is perfect for sitting out in the evenings and taking in the beautiful countryside. Beyond the gardens are acres of rolling countryside with many walks for guests to enjoy.

Bristol, 10 miles, has many attractions and great shopping at Cabot Circus, which has over 90 shops, as well as a mix of restaurants and a cinema. This is a great base from which to explore Somerset. The city of Wells is a 30-minute drive away, and Glastonbury with its famous tor and abbey, is within easy reach. Perhaps visit the wonders of Cheddar Gorge and the wonderful Wookey Hole Caves. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The Somerset Stable is accessible, it provides:

  • Wheel-In Shower
  • Seat-In Shower
  • Wheelchair Ramps
