The award-winning Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa provides a piece of paradise in the heart of the Lucca countryside. With 7 floors, 166 Rooms, and 14 suites, you'll find the hotel perched on 1,700 acres of gorgeously landscaped grounds in the Serchio Valley, one of Tuscany's most pristine areas.
NB: Due to the Resort's secluded location, adapted transfers in the region may be expensive, it is therefore advisable that Guests employ a private car hire to and from the Resort, as well as for any excursions during their stay.
Access
Accessibility at il Ciocco Resort and Spa is incredibly well integrated with the overall structure and all resort facilites are desiged to accomodate the need of wheelchair using guests of the Hotel. There are specifically adapted rooms available for wheelchair users. These rooms are equipped with a Wheel-in shower, available with a shower seat as well and grab rails for both the shower and toilet.
Aside from the adapted rooms, other features of accessibility in the Hotel include:

24 hour room service is available for all guests and the Resort also has it's own convenience/general store for any particular guest requirements.
Equipment
Commode shower chairs, hoists, scooters and other mobility equipment are available for hire. This must be arranged at the time of booking your holiday.
Adapted Transfers
Adapted transfers in the region may be very expensive, it is reccommended guests arrange their own modes of transport to and from the Resort.
