Location
Floresta Hotel, in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, is a comfortable hotel next to Los Pocillos beach. It provides the ideal location for a family holiday, spending time at the beach, and going for long, leisurely trips along the seafront promenade. Floresta Hotel is located just 200 metres from the long sandy Los Pocillos Beach in Puerto del Carmen, 5 kilometres from Lanzarote’s airport and only 10 kilometres from the island’s capital.

The Floresta Hotel takes meticulous care for gardens and communal areas where the islands’ typical plants such as aloe vera and cactus grow. At certain times of the year, produce from the hotel’s organic gardens is used to prepare various dishes on the menu.

Access
The Floresta Hotel features a number of adapted apartments, with 80 cm wide doors, an accessible terrace on the ground floor apartment, and the bathroom includes a wheel-in shower, shower chair, and grab rails. There is good access around the hotel, with roman step access to the pools. The seafront promenade has wheelchair accessibility, and at various points there is ramped access to the beach from the promenade.

Accommodation
The apartment can comfortably accommodate two people, with the possibility of additional beds in the lounge area of the apartment to sleep more guests. All the apartments have a terrace, and are fitted with a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, lounge-dining room, telephone, satellite TV, pay-per-use safe, air conditioning in the lounge and fan in the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc. There is a cleaning service 5 days per week.

The hotel features an available limited broadband Wi-Fi connection in the reception area, with the paid option of a faster connection in the apartment itself.

On all departure days the hotel apartment has to be vacated before noon. For late departures a complimentary luggage-room and courtesy-room is provided by the hotel.

Additional amenities:

• Pool towels can be borrowed for a 10 Euro deposit. They can be changed for a charge of 2 Euros.
• An iron is available, and can be borrowed on request.
• A self-serving washing machine and tumble dryer is available – tokens can be bought from reception.

Facilities
Floresta Hotel features two swimming pools, which are heated throughout the cooler months, and two freshwater pools. A tennis court, kid’s play park, a varied sports programme, and evening entertainment is prepared every night, all to ensure your holiday is unforgettable.

Children have their own pools; one pool is saltwater, and the other freshwater. There is a kid’s club for children aged 4 to 12, and they have their own games area.

Additionally, the Floresta Hotel features a varied buffet restaurant service with international dishes and including show-cooking, a cocktail bar with live music and professionally-run shows, and a poolside snack bar throughout the day. Many of the ingredients in the dishes are locally sourced.

Equipment
Commode shower chairs, hoists, scooters and other mobility equipment are available for hire. This must be arranged at time of booking holiday.
