Location
The Hotel De Rijper Eilanden is located 33 km north west of Amsterdam, on the edge of the historical village De Rijp. It is in a beautiful green area of Holland which is of the typical flat Dutch look with waterways lining the landscape. It is only about forty minutes by car from Amsterdam airport and is also accessible by public transport. You can also reach Amsterdam by local transport for a wonderful day out in the city before returning for a relaxed evening at the De Rijper Eilanden.

Access
The Hotel De Rijper Eilanden is incredibly accessible for disabled and wheelchair-bound guests. The hotel has 3 buildings with a total of 155 rooms, all of which are wheelchair accessible. All rooms have a large wheelchair accessible bathroom which has a roll-in shower and support bars on both sides of the toilet. There are also grab rails for the shower. The hotel also has a range of equipment which they will provide free of charge, including: hospital beds, shower chairs, shower stretchers, hoists and blanket arches. For groups there is also there is also a portable personal alarm system for night time use.

Four of the fifteen toilets in the lobby of the main building are wheelchair accessible. In the other two buildings are all wheelchair accessible toilets. The restaurant, lounge, auditorium and four of the remaining six halls are accessible and wheelchair users also encounter no problems in the village.

Accommodation
All 3 hotel buildings have 17-18 rooms per floor and there are 3 floors. There is access to a terrace or balcony from all the rooms on the ground floor and first floor. On the second floor, 6 of the rooms have a balcony. In the spacious rooms, ranging from 35m2 to 45m2, there are 2, 3 or 4 single beds. There is underfloor heating in the rooms. There is a large bridal suite and there are also three rooms fitted out in an Art Deco style. All rooms are fitted out with shower, toilet, hair-dryer, cable TV, radio, telephone, and internet. Cots for infants up to 2 years of age are available on request.

Facilities
One of the things that makes Hotel Rijper Eilanden so unique is Art Nouveau style theatre hall. A real theatre, with movable stage parts, professional lighting, space for over 200 people and a beautiful bar in the back. Its is available for events as well as private parties, including weddings. The hotel will customise the content and layout hall to the user’s needs. The theatre is wheelchair accessible. Each hotel building has its own dining rooms and bar with its own intimate atmosphere.

Food and Drink
The Hotel De Rijper Eilanden offers good, affordable meals to size. It can offer dietary meals and groups can choose a private room with 30-120 seats. For a drink you can also visit the cosy bar. The breakfast buffet consists of yoghurt, muesli, cornflakes etc., fruit, meat, cheese and jam, boiled egg, cooked English breakfast dishes, various types of bread and cake, tea, coffee, milk and juice. Buffet lunches are available for groups of more than 20 people. There is a daily menu or buffet. For parties and special occasions an alternative dinner menu can be arranged.
