The 4 star Aparthotel Ponent Mar is situated around 50 metres from the beach, in the quiet residential Son Caliu district of the otherwise lively resort of Palma Nova on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 1km from the Palma Nova resort centre where you will find a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife.
Access
The hotel has good access throughout and the wheelchair acessible rooms have a roll/wheel in shower. The hotel has three studios that are completelly adapted for disabled travelers. These studios are located on the ground floor and have bathrooms with roll-in showers and toilets with grab bars. kitcken and wardrobe are also prepared for disabled clients. Access door and interior doors have also been changed with a special width. There is one sea view and 2 standard ccessible apartments. The pool has an hydraulic-powered pool lift for access.

The Apartotel Ponent Mar comprises 68 apartments with capacity for 4 people and 88 studios with capacity for 3 people. The studios comprise 1 sitting/bedroom, complete bathroom and terrace. The apartments comprise 1 bedroom, 1 sitting room with sofa bed, complete bathroom and terrace. Room cleaning service every day except Sundays.
Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi access available in all public areas, a games room, laundry and medical services. Situated on the third floor of the hotel the supermarket offers a wide selection of food and complements for the beach, also a selection of souvenirs.
Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large 350m2 outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children’s section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. There's also a 60 m2 iSolar heated indoor pool (about 27º). There you can enjoy, together with our entertainers, sessions of water gym. Open from January to May and also the month of October. The complex has two saunas situated in the indoor pool area with capacity for 6 people each sauna.
